We arrived the day before the trip from 15hrs of travelling with no WiFi to messages from our guide telling us to buy the tickets for the castles we were visiting. “Our tour guide Charlie was really great! The day before the tour we received communication for where to meet and the day of our tour he arrived promptly. On the day of our tour there was a biking race that caused parts of the Transfagarasan Road to be closed, however I think the company handled it very professionally. They gave us the option to do the tour on another day or postpone the trip by about 4 hours so that we can still see the road and do the tour. “Adrian drove us in air conditioned comfort from Brasov to the famous Transylvania sites. Our first stop was Peles Castle, which, in our opinion, is only rivaled by Versailles. “We made the mistake of taking a 4yr old child that wasn’t able to go in to the sanctuary, so he stayed outside with Dad. It makes sense, the bears are rescued and nervous. The rest of the trip was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed Bran castle, and whilst Râşnov fortress is just ruins, the view was beautiful. Our driver was friendly and helpful.”
